Always Live In Hope

You may have had an unfair past, but you don't have to have an unfair future. You may have had a rough start, but it's not how you start, it's how you finish. Joel Osteen

The difficult times of the past can have a strong impact. We can think on them too much and the more we think on something, the more we will keep thinking on it because it becomes an automatic thought in our minds. This causes the past to keep haunting us and it becomes easy to turn into things like eating disorders, perfectionism, or avoidance, in attempt to manage the difficulties. Which sets you in the wrong direction.

Remind yourself when the wrong things come to mind that they don't determine your life today. They determined your past. Today is a new day. You can leave the past behind. You can do things like find one or two close friends you can confide in. You can choose to go for counselling and learn new skills and find healing. You can decide to think on new things, like what is true in a good way about who you are and what your life is like now.

Your daily choices and thoughts have the power to determine your life. These new daily choices and thoughts can help steer your life in a better direction for you. Use your words and decisions to coach you through the tough places.

The harsh memories that come with critical and negative voices can be reworked so you can find healing and freedom from them.

I wish the best of days today.
