What To Expect in Counselling

Good counselling happens inside a connection and a relationship with a therapist. As with most healthy relationships, sometimes you will lead and sometimes I will.

I will provide a safe space for you to talk and explore what you wish to work on. Within this space, I offer insights, reflections, guidance, and will walk you through new life skills and healing therapies.

You will decide what you want to focus on in session and what your goals are in counselling. You help shape your healing by sharing your presenting topic with me, along with your thoughts and feelings on it. You provide feedback to ensure we are on the right track.

 

An example of how this can work together is I will ask guided questions that help you access your innate wisdom that can give you clarity in understanding, decision making and even healing.
